Why the training ground is where the story starts
Progress is often measured in small repetitions, patient coaching and the confidence to try again.
By Moneybags Editorial ·
A performance can look effortless after the work behind it has disappeared from view. On the training ground, that work is usually repetitive and often unglamorous: an adjusted first touch, a change in body position or a decision made a fraction earlier.
Coaching can help players connect those small details to the situations they meet in a game. Time to practise, feedback that is clear and the freedom to make mistakes all have a place in that process.
